Standard is the base-game choice; Midnight adds extra content. Keep the Alucard-style early-purchase/pre-order costume separate from Midnight’s package contents when comparing offers.

The comparison below follows Konami’s US product listing. Your selected store still determines the current price and the purchase conditions for that offer.

Choose Standard if the game itself is what you want. Consider Midnight if the listed gallery and in-game extras are worth the price difference to you. Choose according to the extras you want.

The purchase bonus is a separate question

Konami lists the Alucard-style costume as an early-purchase/pre-order “Night One” bonus. Do not treat it as one of the Midnight-only items in the table.

Before paying, check whether your particular listing includes the promotion and how the store supplies it. Use the terms shown on that listing.

Buying physical?

The official page says the physical-version purchase bonus requires an additional online-store download. The Sound & Art Gallery is also a separate application from the main game.

Think of the disc or cartridge, downloadable bonus and separate gallery as different parts of the package. Check the selected offer before assuming everything is accessed in the same way.

Tried the Demo already?

If save continuity matters, check platform and account first. The edition comparison is not a substitute for those transfer conditions.

Keep your Demo save eligible for transfer.

Your next step

Choose your platform’s official store, compare the current prices there, and verify that the exact listing includes the extras you want.

Still unsure about the game itself? Try the Demo before paying for a larger package.
